I got to realize the extend to which I am dependent on the internet last night when we lost power for a while last night (more than 15 minutes actually). I was in the middle of preparing a document on my laptop. I rarely reference books because with Google you can always find anything on the internet. Now, the document I was preparing was time sensitive and I went into panic when suddenly I could not search for information on the internet.
This led me to imagine how people did without the internet let alone the computer!
